Hey Y'all! Even though there's 'no sleep 'til Brooklyn', the 2014 Brooklyn Half is only 2 sleeps away! So excited! Oh wait, I'm not running it this year because my mature bones decided to play a cruel joke on me. BUT, that definitely is not stopping me from cheering on my peeps and from attending the pre-party! Heck, I paid for that shirt, I'm getting it! Also, when food and beer is involved, I can't say no. So today, The BFF and I headed to Pier 2 to pick up the race packets at the pre-party and we had an awesome time! Even with the fog and mist and uber-frizzy hair. It was better than last year's pre-party, so give yourselves a pat on the back, New York Road Runners for yet another successful event! Here are some pics of the fun we had this afternoon.
If this pre-party is any indication of the amount of energy and fun to be expected at the race on Saturday, it's going to be a blast! From on the road and the cheering sidelines! Good luck to all the runners on Saturday!! And remember, hot dogs and beer at the end!
